This spring has had great views of the Northern Lights here at Hotel North Pole! We thank David Hancocks for sharing some of his pictures that he took here at the hotel during his stay with us.

Hotel North Pole welcomes all Iditarod mushers and fans for their race in March! To honor the teams and tradition, we are offering a special room rate for March 7th through the 11th. Feel free to come in and enjoy this great piece of Alaskan history. 

This very special Grandma made sure her grandchildren got to see Santa.  We were priviledged to meet this loving family.

We welcome you to stop by and see our Ice Scupltures this year made by Carl Eady. Even Santa himself had a hand in these sculptures as he delivered the ice blocks to our hotel.

A family of Elves traveled to Santa's hometown just to meet him here at Hotel North Pole. 

The Travel Channel will be airing Christmastown USA and More Christmastown USA on Dec. 14th at 7pm and 7:30pm featuring our hometown of North Pole.  Hotel North Pole and other local attractions will be spotlighted in the programming.  

Look for our booth #175 at the Holiday Marketplace in the Carlson Center, November 14th, 15th, and 16th.  Santa himself will be making appearances throughout the weekend. Learn about our Santa Suite and the opportunity to have a personal visit from Santa at Hotel North Pole.

We enjoyed participating in the Jingle Bell 5K Walk.  Thank you to Anna Campione and all her efforts in arranging the fundraiser and to our owner for sponsoring us.  We hope it was a big success.

In honor of the Jingle Bell Arthiritis Walk, our housekeepers joined as a team to walk in the fund raiser.  We gladly support the Arthritis Foundation each year. Family members went along too.

These brothers got a big surprise when they got a special visit from Santa.  One brother said, "It was the best day of his life".  Our Santa suite and visits from Santa are available all year long.

Is staying healthy and physically fit a part of your daily routine? If so, Hotel North Pole would like to introduce our newly constructed Fitness Center available for guests 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Our bright, clean, and well-maintained facility features a commercial grade treadmill, cycle, elliptical, and climber, as well as a flat screen cable TV, fresh towels, and a water fountain for refreshment.  

The Conference room here at Hotel North Pole had a busy week with the State of Alaska Division of Forestry's Alaska Interagency Dispatch Workshop. The Division of Forestry is just one of the three agencies in Alaska that protects our state from wildfires, and works with the BLM Alaska Fire Service and US Forest Service. Workshops were held throughout the week to cover a variety of topics and assist agencies in keeping us and our land safe.

Congratulations to John Hanson, who stayed with us while he competed in his first Open North American Sled Dog Championship! His team of eleven dogs did an outstanding job in the Sprint Race on March 21st-23rd.
